Hi, I have a 2008 Chev Cobalt. Last winter I had a Polarstart PS-4661TWE-FM installed in my vehicle. Recently, the system has been malfunctioning, it will work one day then not the next. The remote is a 5-button unit. The Remote LED will flash when any button is pressed but the car will not respond. No doors will lock/unlock, trunk won't pop and vehicle won't start. The Parking lights on the vehicle do not respond either. The Batteries in the remote are fine, I tested them myself and replaced them for good measure. I am stumped, im not sure what is wrong with this thing but it was -30 degrees celsius yesterday and my command start wasnt working, let me tell you I had a cold day!
Any help is appreciated, thanks.

First, the place that installed it can't or won't fix it?

I would try checking to see if the control module has a blown fuse/disconnected ground, then reprogramming the remote(s) to the control unit.

Ok thanks, I am trying to get the guy who installed it to look at it. It seems that it doesn't want to work in the cold, because after the vehicle has been running for a while it starts to work again. I only asked to see if maybe this was a common occurrence with my unit. Thank you again for the advice. Hopefully the installer can do something about it.
