I have a 1998 silverado I've been installing an audiovox aps 620 in for the past month. I have the kleyless entry working and everything wired up to include a passlock for the factory security system.
Everytime I try to start it with the remote start it just turns over and doesn't start. It starts just find with the key. Any suggestions on what to check? I've rechecked all my wiring and I think the passlock is wired up correctly. It programmed as it was supposed to.

Some more information would help here...

What specific type of bypass did you use?   Does it remote start with the key inserted in the ignition, just turned to the "on" position?

Does the car start briefly and then die, or does it just crank and not start?

Did you hook up Tach to the vehicle?  Did you learn the tach signal on the APS620?

I would say it  has to do with your bypass. double check your wiring
