old astra start 1000rs

I have an older Astra 1000RS with the 5 button one way remotes. Lazy me didn't connect tach and now it has a problem starting. I can not find the proper manual anywhere. The new 1000RS's do not match so I can't find the tach wire on the remote start. I also do not know which locations are for Tachsense and RPM learn in the programming. They are cheap and I could by a new one but if I can get the info it'd save me 30 bucks.

I am pretty sure the system you are referring to is made by Scytek. If you head to this site you can see that they list the 1000RS under their Astra line. However their link to the 1000RS is not working. I would send them an email using their contact us link or just give them a call at either (818) 252-6678 or (818) 767-8593. I am sure someone there would be able to get you the information (if this is the system you are talking about).Installer, IT support, and FFL. I need less hobbies.

Yes its the model by Scytek sorry I forgot about the actual Astra starter line. Eureka! I found the correct manual here It is the black w/gray wire for tach and its Option 13 in the program list with button one on the remote.
