Hi, I was looking to wire 3 speakers together. I wanted one sub and two 6" speakers. I was thinking of buying a 4 channel amp. Can someone point me in the right direction on this. Its been a while working on car audio for me. I haven't bought anything yet just trying to get the info on the best way to do it. like if the sub should be a dvc 4 ohm, etc. Thanks for any help.

A 4ch amp is probably your best option.  one channel on each speaker.  Then bridge your last 2 channels onto one 4ohm single voice coil sub.  most 4ch amps, when bridged, work best into a 4 ohm load.  This statement describes most 4ch amps, but not all, so it will depend on the specifics of the amp you choose to go with.

If your cousin is such a good installer, and he will install anything for a 6 pack; why are you talking to me?

with all the kicker 4 Ch amps i know of, that holds true.  A 4ohm svc running on the bridged portion of the amp should be fine.  Just make sure the amp puts out enough power to support whatever sub you choose.
