sorry, to add to this, as for the error flashes, i had my buddy watch for the flashes and he counted 6.  unfortunately when putting jeep into MTS mode the parking lights are on, and when i would tell him to count he would see this and count it is one flash(if that makes sense).  Basically he say them on then shut off and counted it as one, but it really isnt a flash, so there are only 5 flashes which is a brake(+) issue.  i will try to ground the neutral BLACK/ white wire instead of using the parking brake.

Check the wire connecting your unit to the footbrake, there should be 0v on this rising to 12v when you press the brake.

Also, if you have some towing wiring done on this vehicle, check your wiring out back to see if you have corroded contacts. This can create some problems with remote starters and the brake input.

Have you disconnected the brake wire and tried the procedure? Did u plug in the inline safety switch and set it to the on position?

I read somewhere that using the dome light for a door trigger will not work with remote start applications but will for alarm function alone, due to the dome delay. Not sure how this may/may not affect anything but I ended up changing my door trigger to the (-)door triggers of the jeep and diode isolated. This didnt fix the problem but it's one thing ruled out I guess. The switch is set to on, and I need the brake wire connected to do the procedure. I am gonna look into the tow wires. I had a tail light go out not long ago and it was a broken/corroded wire behind the light whichthe tow wires are right there also. I will report back, thanks for all the help.

What is untrue Howie....domelight connection? One thing that I would is to install a relay on the foot brake. If you have unwanted voltage/current feedbacking on the line, it's probably not enough to trigger the relay unless you press on the brake pedal.

That is what I understood Howie, just wanted to confirm. One thing that just flashed me, the other day, I did a Toyota Yaris with no door locks, for the Viper to get into ready mode, we needed to simulate unlocking the door using the viper remote for it to get ready. I know that Compustar are like that but it was actually my first experience with a DEI product. It's true that there's not that many vehicle with no PDL. When I get a problem with either park brake or door pin issues, I don't waiste time on troubleshooting, I install relays and it solves my problem 9 out of 10.

Absolutely agree, I buy mini 5amp relays from R/S (= Farnell or Mouser) at about 70 cents each bulk, diode the coil and give them DEI colours, always have a work around that way You might need them for mirror folds, lighting always have about 100 x 4004s and about 50 5404s + about 4-8 relays.
