Hi guys,

Need your help with CM5200 on 2006 Corolla.

CN1

1. Red (Go to 12 V Constant) >> OK

2. GREEN / WHITE (Parking light) >>OK

3. RED / White (12 V constant) >>OK

4. White (accessory) >> OK

5. Violet (250mA Output to Starter Kill) >> Very confused here.  This violet wire goes into a relay and coming out of the relay is a Yellow wire and a Yellow/Black wire.

Does the Yellow wire go into the starter wire on the starter side  and Yellow/Black go into the key side??

6. Yellow (+ starter) >> This one goes into starter side of starter wire??

7. Green (+Ignition) >> OK

8. Black (Ground) >> OK

****

There is also a blue wire and a violet wire coming out of a relay.  What do I do with them???

Many thanks for your help.

The Compustar CM5x00 uses two external relays on the CN1 connector to allow the installer some options.

Starting with the Violet wire at Pin 5.  It is a signal called Ground Out When Armed.  It is a (-) trigger

signal to control the external Starter Kill / Anti-Grind relay.  It is optional and if you don't want these
features. cut the Yellow wire from CN1 Pin 6 at the relay and connect it directly to the vehicles Starter wire.
If you wish to make use of these features, cut the vehicles Starter wire and connect the relays' short Yellow
wire to the vehicle side of the cut Starter wire and the short Yellow/Black wire to the key side of the cut Starter
wire.  Also see the Menu 3 - 04 programming options for more settings.

The CM5200 only has internal relays for one Starter, one Ignition and one Accessory circuit.  The other external

relay is partially wired for use as a ACC2, Starter2 or IGN2 output.  The relays short Violet wire can be connected to
CN3 Pin 3 RED / Black for Starter2, CN3 Pin 5 Green for IGN2 or CN3 Pin 7 WHITE/ Black for ACC2.  Once connected, the
relays long Blue wire will provide the corresponding output.

Soldering is fun!
