Whats the difference between a 2v and 5v preamp outputs?

About 3 volts LoL

But really, supposedly, preamp outputs with higher output voltage (in the example: 5v) allow for you to have the gain (on the power amplifiers) turned down lower -than if you were using 2v preamp outputs, which equates to less of a signal to noise ratio (s/n) introduced by the power amplifier.

a higher voltage output will also allow you to run a longer rca if necessary, like if you were running an amp to the back of an RV or school bus, and still have good voltage at the amp.
