2001 taurus transponder

Hi there, can anyone verify the wire colors of this vehicles tx and rx wires. It looks like you can either go right to the transponder connector at the ignition switch or down the column about 8 inches to another white connector. do the colors change between these 2 connectors.

I have quite a bit of conflicting paperwork on these connections, just looking to get some clarification.

According to ADS, the TX should be BROWN / Orange at Pin 4 and the RX should be RED / Black at Pin 3.  I have noticed that the
colors do change sometimes at that connector that is about 8 inches down the steering column.

Thanks for the reply kreg357, I guess I will just take a look when I get the vehicle. Like I said I have found different colors noted between Autostart, Idata link, and Fortin, but I think some of that info is different because of the location they are getting the connection at.
