Does anyone have access to the vehicle wiring diagram for a 2006 Chevy Equinox?
Also, what bypass do you guys recommend? Preferably something that doesn't need a bit writer to be programmed, or use an extra key -- if at all possible.

Here is a link to DEI for their wiring guide :  http://www.readyremote.com/main.asp?make=Chevrolet&model=Equinox

Here is a link to Bulldog Security for their wiring guide :  http://www.bulldogsecurity.com/bdnew/vehiclewiringdiagrams.asp

The 2005 is the same as the 2006, so here is a link to the wiring info from the12volt :  https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp~TID~66458

I have used the iDatalink ADS-ALSL GM bypass module on the Equinox with excellent results.  No key left under the dash.  Easy programming.  Handles the bypass, locks and Factory Alarm, making the install very easy.

Soldering is fun!

I'd recommend going the 2 relay and resistor method for bypass on that one.
A DMM is a beautiful thing.
