I have a Compustar unit thats been doing well in my automatic car so far (3000 brain.) Only issue I've ever had was stepping on the remote recently and having to replace it.

I am however possibly buying a standard transmission vehicle, and was wondering if I can just reconnect the wire on the brain for this (I know about warranty issues, but wanted to know if its ok to do it otherwise?)

Thanks :)
