I recently install a Viper 5202 on my 2004 Pontiac GTO. After the install was complete I tried to enable manual transmission mode/turbo timer. After following the instructions in the manual I could not get the parking lights to flash 5 times indicating manual transmission mode. I have the neutral safety switch input is grounded, neutral safety switch in the on position, door trigger works, and parking lights flash when armed and disarmed. Any suggestions?

is the unit in manual mode? section 3, option 1, mode 1.
are you pulling ebrake, release foot brake, press start, open/close door, press lock? thats proper reservation mode.

When you say you have the NSS wire grounded, Does that mean you tied it in with the brains ground connection? If so that is your issue. In Manual mode it cannot be a constant ground, The NSS wire needs to be pulsed from engaging the Emergency Brake.

x2
if the vehicle is manual, cut the NSS wire BLACK/ white and connect to ebrake, not permanent ground
