remote starter won't start car the first crank in mornings, it just cranks 1 sec then stops. i have to press start button the second time, after that it starts everytime until the next morning then it does again. Ask why? Thanks.

While there could be several reasons for this to happen, it sounds like it could be tach related.
- Tach may need to be re-learned
- If a tach wire is not being used, I would suggest connecting it and using that instead of voltage sense or virtual tach.
- You may need to adjust the crank time a little higher to allow for the longer time needed to start the car on colder days.
What kind of remote starter are you using?

Thanks! TACH was connected to the right wire (blue at distributor) and was successfully programmed in (normal Tach). Its AUTOSTART. Car in very good condition, it starts with key everytime, car in Alberta now -15c

reprogram tach but at 1500 rpm.

Thank yous. it works now, after i changed a new one. I guess the brain has learned the TACH but over a cold night its forgoten

Can't forget it's a non-volatile memory, i.e. even if the power was removed all the settings would be held.
Check to see if all your wiring is correct, inputs and grounds measured, at least 12.3 volts between them.
