I give up on my previous installer. Finally found a sensible Viper dealer who claims to have installed several comfort closure feature in MDX's. He is offering to add this feature for me for 100 bucks. (Still not a bad deal), after paying 275 dollars for basic install.
Well, he even promised to add a few more functions to the remote start such as opening the garage door with the viper remote... defrost as well. I will keep the info on this post handy, just in case if we are lost. Will update back today evening.
By the way, has anyone ever added Garage door opener to their viper remote start, I have a garage door opening feature through the car's inbuilt switches.

HI

i'm new to the fourm... have been a lurker for quite sometime...I just finishing installing comfort close function/feature on my Viper 5901... 2010 MDX.. I use the info posted earlier in this thread.

Long story short.... I open up the door panel... tap a wire into the Factory alarm arm Wire (Light Blue (-)) on the key lock harness..... put a diodes and tap the other end to the Light green Lock (-) output wire.. only one wire needed..... everything else is control by Idatalink (lock / unlock etc).

Once i enable the function on the brain window will roll up once i arm viper alarm.

I didn't bother adding the roll down fuction because i won't be using it....

Hi I have a 2010 mdx and tried hooking this up like you said from the green lock to the light blue wire in the door and can't get it to work. I tried the diode in both directions and comfort closure on both settings is there something I am missing
