2003 Pathfinder Automatic. Double pulse (-) unlock & disarm ( Lt. Green). Single pulse (-) lock & arm (Yellow).
---------------------------------------------------------
I will be connecting the glass hatch release (using a relay) to the Compustar CM5200.
I would like to avoid the hatch release from setting off the factory alarm. Will the CM5200 send a disarm signal before releasing the hatch?
Another question:
The lock wire on the car also arms, and the unlock wire also disarms...
Is it okay to connect both the lock & arm wires from the RS to the single lock&arm wire on the car (vice versa w/ unlock & disarm)?
If yes, should I use a diode on each ends coming from the RS to isolate the lock from arm, and unlock from disarm?

Thank you! Just to confirm, no diodes are needed?
Thanks again.

Yes on the lock/arm and unlock/disarm wires.
If you do this you lose auto-lock though.

I just looked thru the install manual of the CM5200 and the info you are looking for is in there with options to change if you wish.

Unfortunately the manual I have does not have this option in the programming table.
In my CM6200 manual, it shows this feature in option 1-07.. In the CM5200 manual, that option does not show. It skips from 1-05 to 1-08 in the table...
