So what I'm doing is I'm doing a custom install in 78 nova and I'm not using a HU at all. What I'm doing is I'm using a tablet . So from the battery I'm running a 4 gauge power wire to a distro block .then from the distro block I have a 8 gauge wire that 8 gauge wire that goes to another 4 way distro block that has a switch that turns all my aftermarket off and on. My main question is can I run my remote turn on from my amp to the 8 gauge distro block .

Don't see why not. The HU is putting out 12v to that amp turn on wire when it's turned on.
I would make sure and fuse protect it too since it's coming right of the block.
Sounds like an interesting setup. Be nice to see pictures when you're done with it.

OK I'll post pics but there is no HU in this setup I'm running from the tablet to a 5channel amp. So from the 8 gauge distro block I plan to put the remote wire on it but put a toggle switch before the distribution block on the 8 gauge wire because all the aftermarket accessories will be powered thru the block

How are you feeding the amp from the tablet for sound. As in there are no RCA connections coming from the tablet.

Yes I'm have a y adapter ,3.5 mm mini jack and the other end is rca male. From then I'm have a set of couplers that run to a 15ft rca cable .once it gets to the amp I'm gonna split the cable again to goto each of the 5 channels on the amp

i wouldnt run the output of the tablet straight to the amps. i would use some sort of pre-amp crossover/equalizer to split the signal to each amp and raise the voltage so you dont have to max the gains on the amps.

heres the chevy nova tablet pics i promised i have it wired straight to the amp from the tablet and i added a bluetooth module because a 10" tablet with bluetooht is pricey so you just unplug the 3.5mm cable from the tablet and connect it to the 3.5mm connector in the ash tray any you cant play any blue tooth device in the nova tell me your thoughts
