Hello 12V, I am in need of some help wiring up my 1996 Toyota Supra.
Currently here is the audio equipment that I have:
1 - Pioneer AVIC-N3
1 - Pioneer DEQ-9200
4 - Infinity 60F Uniplane Midranges
2 - Infinity 1001t Tweeters
2 - Infinity 10" Kappa Subwoofers*
1 - 400W 2 Channel Amp*
*Not sure what the model number is but I will check when I head back into the garage.
So basically, my questions are as follows:
1. How should I wire in the speakers and tweeters regarding the head unit? It has 3 outputs (front/rear/sub). Should I wire up the tweeters to the front, midranges to the rear and subwoofers to the sub?
2. How should I wire up the speakers and tweeters to the amps? Should I get a 6 channel amplifier? 4 channel (I guess this would depend on how the RCA outputs are arranged)? Two 4 channel amps (have the speakers on one amp and tweeter and subwoofers on another amp)?
I know some of this stuff is old as hell but I would like to run them mainly from sentimental value (mainly the headunits, speakers, tweeters and subwoofers). I don't really care about the amps since they blew apart in the first place and are usually hidden.
