HI.

Yes.  Why not.  I had installed a Cifford on my 2007 Honda CBR.  Most of the wiring you obviously would not use.  But it would work.  What I did notice was the shock sensor to be a little temperamental...

Hi Francisco,

sorry for the delay in my response.  Yes, I was happy with the alarm.  The range was more accurate than that of an auto, probably because of the "open" frame concept of a bike.  The flashing LED is a bonus on a bike as you do not see them too often.  As with any alarm it acts as a very good visual deterent.

I put one on my 05 R6 (same chassis as the R6S) Pick yourself up a mercury tilt switch. That will give you an extra trigger as soon as the bike is stood up. I also connected the door pin input to the kick stand so that if the mercury switch failed, it would trigger as soon as the kick stand was raised. I didn't bother with the shock sensor. I installed the remote start as well and that was a bit of a PITA due to some + and some - ignition wires.

offroadzj,

Brilliant idea on the kickstand!  I agree with the mercury switch.  I may now take out my shock sensor.  Too many false alarms.  Thanks for the great tips!

Pete
