I need help with this project please.

I have a Tview flipout 7" monitor, the unit itself doesn't work anymore so i would like to connect the monitor to a stand alone dvd player and my head unit. The original Tview unit had bluetooth, usb, ipod, stereo, cd/dvd capabilities and even thought i would love to keep those features I really only need to connect it to a dvd player and hopefully to my head unit and be able to control the functions of my head unit from it. There is a red wire and black wire which i'm pretty sure of where they go, but the others are a 26 pin and a 4 pin ribbon cable and that blows my mind. I'm attaching the manuals for my head unit and links to my photobucket pics of the monitor and connections from it. If someone could please help with this i would be very greatful. Thanks

How is the unit broken? If it is broken and you can not get it repaired, chances are you will not be able to use the display.

didn't play dvd's anymore..i've already taken the monitor off but i'm sure i'll get this taken care of, might have to ask tview for a schematic, or i might end up getting another monitor cuz of this one getting broken from me throwing it across the room
