3500 watt amp for two 1500 watt 12's?

i have an 83 el camino with 2 Pioneer TS-W304R 12" Subwoofers and one Bass Inferno BI4200 2000 Watt 4 Channel Amplifier and a cap. my subs were not hitting very hard so i started to run just 1 sub hooked up. its much better. not enought POWER from amp for both subs. subs are rated for 1300 watts amp is 1000x2 @4 ohms   i want to up grade to a Nitro BMWX-3886 2 channel 3500 watt 1750x 2 channel will that be within recommended power if not can you set an amp to stay within or under recommended ratings?? wat ever i do i need more power!

This is what I mean. Just stop and think for a moment, do you really think that a $100.00 brand new amp like that one is capable of delivering 3500 watts? Do you know what 3500 watts would sound like in a car and how much it would cost to reproduce 3500 watts? Thousands of dollars. I have 1400 watts total in my car and costs me $20,000.Don't know what the problem is yet... but I know what it's not.

The Pioneer TS-W304R subwoofers are 300 Watts according to Pioneers website. The one thousand Three Hundred watt specification that they give is purely for marketing reasons and should not be considered in any shape way or form when choosing an amplifier. Don't feel too scammed however. The subs are not bad for entry level stuff and you are not the first to fall for the marketing game that Pioneer plays. Many of the big companies and all of the crappy ones play this numbers game. What you need is a good quality amplifier that can deliver a solid 500 watts or more under real world conditions. Inferno and Nitro are not good bets for this. Alpine makes several great amps starting at $230 that would suit your needs quite well. If you have a few more bucks to spend than look at JL Audio JX or XD series amps. When buying an amp saving 50 or a 100 bucks will only ensure that the 100 or 150 bucks that you do spend will be wasted.
