I wanted a PA system in my car, so i bought a cb radio and a speaker/horn.
Heres what i have:
http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productid=2104031&locale=en_US
and
https://www.cobra.com/detail/19-dx-iv-compact-cb-radio.cfm
I soldered a 3.5mm jack onto the horn, plugged it into the cb radio's PA. wired the radio into the fuse box and ground.
When I talk into the mic, it plays in the speaker about the same volume of me talking.
What do i do to make it louder?
Thanks in advance

That CB puts out 15 watts and the speaker you have can handle 50. Through a small amplifier on it.

That little amp is 15 watts so it's no improvement. Plus it's a POS so I say don't waste your money in any case. Just install your CB and try it. If you need more power you can always install that later.

I have my cb all wired up, but when I talk into it it is only as loud as i talk.
Can you suggest an amp, or what watt amp would work best?

You could use almost any car audio amplifier. The speaker you bought is rated for 50 watts so look for an amp rated at 50 watts. Since you want cheap, check the used market in your area.

It says the Speaker is 25W RMS 50W max. I was told that i need a 50W amp.
