On this circuit diagram, what diodes are being used?

Thanks!

Also, what size resistor (in terms of power) would do the trick here?  Is a 1 watt resistor sufficient?

IMO that resistor can be omitted.
But otherwise, any resistor wattage - eg: 1/8W, 1/4W, 1/2W etc.

I wired up this circuit finally...
Problem is it's clicking the relay on and off at the same rate as the turn signal flasher.
The schematic is showing polarized capacitors. Do they have to be polarized?

Also, am I reading this schematic correctly when it's telling me I need 10,000 mfd (microfarad) capacitors in this circuit?

Disregard my previous posts...
I searched and found another thread where it was confirmed that the schematic is calling out a 10,000 uF cap.
Went to the local Fry's, picked up a couple of them and boom, circuit works like a charm!!
