I need wiring info and any tips on a 2010 Dodge Ram for remote start. I was told it has a fancy key. Thanks.

Use the iDatalink ALCA or the Fortin EVOCHR with T4 harness. Makes the installation way easier and if you use the Fortin, the harness is a plug and play.

I only have an Avital 4103 and an Xpresskit DLKP.
Having trouble programming, as usual. The Xpresskits may be good if you use them everyday, but I only do a few a year now that the shop is closed and I never get them right.

A few thoughts :
The DLPK will only do the locks & Factory alarm and supply door & hood status plus provide a Tach signal. It will not do the transponder bypass.
The Avital units have an issue with D2D sometimes ( if you are going D2D ). Here is a link for more info : http://www.12voltdata.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=131&t=8315
Soldering is fun!

Could not get the DLPK to work at all with the Ram.
Customer is scheduled to return this Saturday for the Avital, DBALL and the CHTHD1 harness.
I have never used one of these harnesses, will it make the install as easy as they claim?

Yes, installation is reall easy. Literally Power, ground, ignition from module and the T-harness.
