I'm tackling a double din nav unit in my 2010 cadillac cts. I have everything sorted out, except am having trouble finding a VSS wire.
Since my car did not have a stock nav unit, the 20 pin harness that usually has the GREEN / WHITE wire is not there. Just the 44 pin harness.
Where can I find a VSS wire?
Hoping to tap it under the dash or inside the car if possible.
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks!

Where would I find that module? And will it be a GREEN / WHITE wire?
Thanks for the help

Yes GREEN / WHITE. The brake master cylinder is under the hood just above the brake pedal. There will be a reservoir full of brake fluid on top of it. There will probably be several metal hoses on the control module.

Cool, I'll give it a whirl tomorrow. I assume it will be easiest to get under the car?

In most cars you can almost always find it at the BCM too. Passenger side underdash. Sorry not sure what color it might be, but a couple random searches may give you the color or put in a call to Pioneer/Alpine/Kenwood/Crutchfield tech. heck even Metra could be helpful. good luck
there can be only one.......

Well, no luck. No GREEN / WHITE at abs module. And I'm told it's all serial data.
I found a vendor who makes a module that plugs into the obd plug and generates a VVS signal. It's used in police cars, cabs, etc.
gonna go this route, as I can't seem to find the dang wire
