I've only done that car using the Idatalink CA module for transponder bypass and I always use the Avital 4113 one button remote start. For the idatalink to work for a transponder bypass you need to Flash it and then go through the klone process after it is installed in the car. A universal bypass will work though if the customer is willing to give up a key. You know that idatalink now sells programming cables that connects to your phone, right?
The keyless entry on the key continues to work on this car as long as you don't power the keysense. Thats why I use a 1- button Avital. Also, if you use the 4103, it gets complicated to disarm with unlock. The car automatically disarms with remote start.
The ignition wires are in a harness above the gas pedal, the parking lights and brake are on the front of the fusebox. Install your universal bypass around the key cylinder, ground the remote start, and your done. 8 connections and ground make this car real easy with the 4113 1-button. Virtual tach works well on this car.
Don't forget wiring in a relay for 2nd starter.
