Thanks for the reply Ted. I installed the unit myself about 4 years back and never had problem with it. I have checked the unit and the connections seems to be ok. The car is chevy cavalier 2005 and I am selling the car to one of my co-worker but it would be nice that remote start also works well. I live in Aurora. Once again thanks for the reply.
Regards Mike

HI TED
I have tried to locate the bypass module but it seems that is missing. The car was given to my nephew and I think is fallen off of the connector, probably thrown out during interior clean up .If you have resistor circuit for the bypass can you please post it.
Regards Mike

The resistor circuit is on this site. Here's a link to one of the threads: https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp?tid=135279
Since the wiring is already there, it would be much easier to just buy another module and program it. Be sure to secure it so it doesn't fall off.
