With a box van roll-up door, I need to cancel out the operation of the relays of an aftermarket power lock with a normally closed pin switch.
Any suggestions are gold to me right now.
Scraping the 30 hour investment is the only thing I've come up with.
A day without learning or teaching is a day without value.

I didn't mention the pin switch is a ground at this point.

Thanks for the interest,
no everything works as they should.
I just want to disable the locks when the door is open, via the pin switch.
But with more contemplating, I've considered using a third relay in a starter kill set up to cut the 12v going to lock relay?
Anything you can think of?

Power to lock relays, use another relay:-
Power for lock wires, cut one cut end to 87a, other cut to 30.
Constant power, fused 2 amps to 86
Pin switch ground to 85
87 Don't use.

I agree with Howie.
Only question is, how long will this rollup door stay open? Any time the door is open, the relay will be energized, consuming a small amount of power.
If the van's battery is in good order, and the door is open no more than a few hours, everything should be OK.
If the van's battery is getting old, and the van is parked overnight (maybe in a workshop?) with the door open all night, the battery might possibly be dead by morning.

Short of placing a switch in the 12v supply to the third relay, what else could I do?
The door doesn't stay open all that much but I don't like things being "on" constantly either

You could use a latching relay but they only switch 10 amps.
