Hello All,
Been out of car audio for about 10 years, I have a 2014 mustang Gt, my question is, is there a better way now to use speaker outs ( factory) to feed aftermarket amplifier. I will be using mmats sq2150 and 1400.1 to power some components in doors and a pro series mmats 12" in rear deck via pored enclosure firing into back glass.

You still will want to get a nice 6 channel line output converter. Like a audio control dq-61 or a lc7i. And if you are really into it grab a mosconi 6to8. These will all take the signal from your factory, let you adjust it to certain extents, and send it nice, hot and clean to your amps.

I only have base model radio and 4 speaker locations, I assume you are saying to use a 6 channel LOC assuming I have a factory sub, correct? And to reiterate I have a non amplified non subwoofer and no center channel.
So in light of this is this still your recommendation? If so does this sq-61 generate a sub out with my speaker inputs?

It doesnt matter if you have a factory sub. You still wanta good signal going into your sub amp. And yes these all generate sub out. It will give you front rear and sub.
