Hey guys I am going to be installing a VSM200 into a 2000 Dodge Dakota (black key/no antitheft) with a Viper 4806v Remote Start/Keyless Entry system.
My confusion starts the 3 plug option. It looks like the Black pin is used for bitwriter and that leaves me with the Brown ESP and D2D wire.
Now this remote start I wired a while back has no bypass module so the D2D is definitely free to use. However I am seeing conflicting information on which to use.. D2D or Brown ESP plug into my 4806v.
Second questions is on the on the 5 pin cable. It says that the analog output wires are only active if the device has been configured for Analog Wire mode in the installation portal.
Final question is on the Configuration Wires. I see ESP2, D2D/RSR/RXT, and AutoStart/AstroStart.
What configuration method should I use? I suppose it depends on the plug I use.
Any help would be amazing. Thanks!
