Delay driving lights off.

I have HID conversions in my ram, im adding high beam hids i already hve driving light hid, i want my driving lights to work with my high beams, we travel on ranch roads at night and its freakin dark. my truck shuts off the driving lights when switched to high beams. i have the relat system set up to run the high beams and driving lights but i dont want the driving lights to shut off for a split second while switching between high and low beam, so i want to add in a 528t pulse timer to hold the driving lights on for a few seconds but i cant figure out how to connect the wires on the 528t?

Hi, Does the driving light conversion have its own relay to power the ballasts? If so, a diode (1N400* series) and electrolytic capacitor connected on that relay's coil is all that is needed. The diode (in series) isolates the relay coil, the capacitor (in parallel with the coil) adds the delay.

is there a diagram i can look at to do this?

https://www.the12volt.com/relays/relaydiagram22.html The +12 volts from turn signal is the driving light wire from the vehicle, ground is ground, fused +12 volts is power from the battery, 12 volt output to turning lamps is +12 volt power to the hid driving light ballasts. Altering the capacitor's value will increase or decrease the delay.
