Going to be installing a Viper 350 plus alarm into a mitsubishi Endeavor and the door lock and unlock system is typeB. Just needs a negative pulse to control them.
What I dont want is the reversing action of the door lock wires to backfeed +12V into the mitsubishi ETACS computer.
Will I be safe to use some diodes to pass the negative to the car harness and block the +12V without damaging my Viper alarm module?

Yes used to be standard procedure on earlier flip-flop driven models such as the above, 5901 etc.
If anything it will protect rather than harm your 350.

Thanks. I got some 1N4001's at home I can use. Would these be sufficient?

For this yes. The pink inverse won't be more than 24 volts.
