Looking to install a viper remote start in my 04 F350 diesel. It has a factory keyless entry with alarm and no chip key. After opening the dash I noticed that the "factory" alarm is actually a code system alarm model H63DB which also has the ability to be used as a remote start as well. Because the viper is 2way I'd like to still install it, my question is will I have to remove the code system alarm/starter or can I wire the viper to arm/disarm the code security system.

Use the DISARM input (+) BROWN wire to the status putput wire from the Viper and this will disable the alarm system for the Code Alarm.

Jeff you wrote disarm input (+) and connect to status output wire from Viper. But that goes to ground (-).
