If it works that way, let it ride. Typically, on most R/S systems, (-) Status Output ( aka GWR ) comes on slightly before the Ignition wire is turned on. On some cars having Keysense and Ignition come on at exactly the same time would cause an issue. If the Sequoia is OK with that timing, great.
