finding tacho wire?

It's relatively easy finding the tacho wire on a car with a distributor, but how do you find one on a car which uses individual coil packs?

You could always run it off the factory tach. I have a couple buddies who did it that way and it works fine.

or run it off one of the injectors

Generally I find that on each individual coil pack there is a common colored wire....pick the other one

usual on the engine dianogsic (or however its spelt!) has a tach wire. Can be found under the dash or engine bay depending on car. Skylines are in the car-its where a technican will plug their computer into
