Ok so I have a 2015 Hyundai Elantra Key start with immobilizer.
I used a DBALL2 to do my RS install.
Ended up with the following which I call bugs.
If headlights are on and you hit unlock the headlights flash off every time you hit unlock.
any time the car is running the word fuse will shortly display in the trip area when hitting lock or unlock on my aftermarket FOB.
Since my install there was 2 tiimes where the first attemt to start the immobilizer didnt kick in right away which made for extra cranking.
I went to see a local shop that uses DBALL2 in this car when he installs and he looked at my car said its a nice install and to be honest with me customers complain about the exact same thing to him so he says its all operating as it should.
I hate wasting money and with this AVital 4103 and DBALL2 which I will be shortly removing from this car its already money in the garbage.
What I want to know is what hardware is less buggy with this car?
Is the fortin EVO the way to go?
I know there is a OEM unit but its expensive and just as buggy according to my dealer.
If someone here has seen or owns a elantra with hardware that acts as expected please let me know what hardware it is. Car is still pretty new and last tiing I want is constant glitches. Seeing as DEI has not updated the firmware since 2013 I dont think they care about DBALL2 in a 2015 Elantra.
