I am looking at tackling a remote start install on my 05 Dodge Durango 4.6L V8, transponder key (head key).
I am looking at a refurbished Viper 4806 starter unit and a dball2 bypass. I would like to use a t-harness however, in the dball2 install guide it says that my vehicle is not compatible with the t-harness. Is there anything else I need?
What type of project am I getting into? I don't see much on the lines of guides or pictorials on 12volt for this vehicle. Does anyone have experience with this vehicle?
Thank you for your help,

There is a fairly good guide for the '05 Durango under vehicle wiring. Hope this helps.

Thank you for the direction however, I have already reviewed this information. I struggle with following that guide as that vehicle is not equiped with SKIM or VTSS and my vehicle is. There is also no use of a bypass module (since there is no need for that vehicle).
Thank you again for the reply.

The area's of main concern is the need for the relay and diode and if adding a Viper 4806 or Viper 5501 (4702v) changes the value of these items or if they are even needed at all?
Any help is much appreciated.
