hey guys, I just installed a remote starter in a 2003 dodge caravan
viper 4105v with the dball2. the issue im having is with the hvac system. on direct techs/ direct wire is says there is no acc wire.
the hvac system turns on but the screen is showing then temp in F and the blower motor will not blow air, when taking over the car with the key, the hvac screen changes the temp C and the fan will start to blow, but under remote start I get no fan, do any of you know how to get the fan to blow under remote strat?
thanks

info from bulldog security.....To Remote Start this vehicle and turn on the AC/Heater, will require an extra relay
part #775 and a (-)Negative thru a 180 Ohm Resistor, THIS MUST BE INSTALLED to
operate in Remote Start mode, to connect, See DIAGRAM.

HEY
I saw the info about the 2nd starter wire but the dball2 says it sends the resistor value through data and is not needed, the car starts fine just no fan, see the dball install guide. https://directechs.blob.core.windows.net/documents/dball-dball2-chrysler2_en_ig_vm20151209.pdf
install type 1 see the note at the bottom
" The MUX value is sent through the J1850 wire;
therefore, NO external relay or resistor is required
to activate the Violet/Brown wire at the ignition switch"
