I added some aftermarket gauges with led bulbs when I hooked them up to the factory dimmer they work backwards. If I switch the wires around they don't work at all. any help on the wiring. I also have a spare dimmer I can use but I also don't know the wiring diagram for it it's a Toyota dimmer 5 wires part number F11cs2 thanks john

You connected one of the wires to the factory dimmer wire. What did you connect the other wire to?

I messed around with a few dimmers I have but couldn't get any to dim the led. Got them to light , maybe the dimmers are to strong for the low draw of the led. No clue how to test that. Thank for any help John

Was that wire White/Green, and located in the small radio harness? If so, connect the LED ground wire to that wire. Connect the LED power wire to the Green wire in the big radio harness, or at the headlight switch.
