Hello and Greetings to all,
I would like some input on how to wire my neighbors lift chair. It originally came with a pcb brain box but that puffed the magic blue smoke and is long gone. Right now he has it wired with a 6 pin dpdt momentary switch with full battery power running through it. I would like to keep the dpdt switch and add two relays to control the high current from the battery and do the polarity switching to the motor. Any simple and cheap ideas?

Wire the lift motor just as the actuator is wired in either of the following examples:
