Hey guys.
First off the system will arm and lock the doors. It will disarm and unlock the doors. The Field sensor module will trigger the warn away to the 516u voice module. The Aux will pop the trunk. And it will flash the marker lights.
I am having an issue with the instant trigger on the Viper 3105.
I have hooked all my instant triggers to the blue wire as the manual says to; Tilt module, field sensor module, and doors.
But nothing is setting off the instant trigger. Open a door and nothing, reach in and grab the tilt and move it and nothing, pick up the field sensor module and nothing.
I have all the negatives from the triggers Diode Isolated to the orange GWA out put.
As well I even Diode Isolated each trigger wire to the blue harness wire and this didn't even change anything.
I have not hooked up the green wire that is for the door or the dome light supervision wire.
Any thoughts on why the instant trigger is not working?
I pretty much have no idea whats going on, but I am going to fake it.

Not sure if I have to bump this to the top or not?
Is there a Viper installation hotline or something?
Cheers

well first off the orange wire is for starter kill not the doors. you should be using the purple (+) or the green (-) depending on what kinda of car you are installing this into. The blue wire is usually used for trunk or hood. The dome light wire is the black/white wires. What kinda car are you install it into and maybe we can help alittle better.

I think you read my OP incorrectly.
The installation manual says the orange wire is pre-wired to control the 8618 starter kill relay correct. But also that it is a ground when armed (GWA) and to install diodes inline from each additional module. (see images from each module)
The grounds are connected through a Diode from each of the sensor modules (tilt, motion) to the orange GWA as per the installation instructions.
The Triggers from each of the modules and the hood, trunk and both door pins are connected to the blue instant trigger wire and I also installed a diode from each trigger individually.
I am not using the door monitor (green wire) as I only want instant (blue wire) trigger when the hood, trunk or either door is opened.

You're completely wrong, the only one going to the orange wire is the tilt sensor.
Any other's blue to blue.
Diode all the connectors, bands away from alarm.
Also wait at least one minute after arming to test the 508D.
