Does anyone know if the triangle tweeter setup harness connects directly to the head unit? I have installed an aftermarket head unit and selected appropriate sized aftermarket tweeters that come with in line crossovers. My concern is should I run the tweeters directly from the head unit or can I compensate the draw on the split from the 6 1/5 inch door speaker by turning up an amplifier?

you can just run it to the 6.5. usually tweeters are higher in ohm load to compensate for it. Honestly it doesn't really matter either way, you wont hear any difference

The amplifier will only see the tweeter at the frequencies the crossover allows it to play. There is not enough musical information at those frequencies to cause any problems at the amplifier. In a component speaker setup the tweeter and the other drivers are the same impedance.
