I have an 07 MDX. I keep having the problem of my battery dying (clicking very fast) when I give it a jump start from my other car and it is fine. Battery Test Fine when I took to interstate. First question he asked is if I had an Aftermarket alarm?
I got this Viper Remote start installed 2 years ago almost. Come to think after that is when my problems started. Out of the blue it will be dead, lights will be very low when it is. I even replaced the alternator last year.
How do I test or find shorts or bad grounds on the Viper Alarm?

Is there a DB-ALL or similar module in there, the alarm draw is zilch.
The only other possibility is an accessory such as a relay being constantly engaged such as a starter cut.

The bluetooth modules in those years mdx models are a very common problem that will kill a battery overnight. Do a google search. Remote starts/alarms get blamed for battery draw issues often but it's very rare that it's the issue.

Bluetooth still works, but I unplugged it and the AMPS went down after I did that. Simple to do. I will see if that fixes it..
Thanks,
