Currently installing the Directed 5x10 into a 2006 Chevy Trailblazer. Is the GMDLBP required for immobilizer bypass or does the 5x10 already handle that? Thanks.

The Directed 5x10 should be flashed with 800.GM1 v4.02.429d firmware. No need for the GMDLBP bypass module.
If you look on Page 5 of the install guide, there is a table that shows all of the 5x10 supported functions,
which include the Passlock2 bypass. Here is a link :

Thank you so much! I've never worked with a unit like this before. I went ahead and amazon primed the xkloader2. Hopefully flashing it will be a breeze.

Not that I'm aware of. You might try a local 12V shop or maybe a BestBuy. Bring doughnuts...

Nothing is ever easy.
After work last night, I went ahead and soldered the rest of the wires and I put the key in to crank the truck but it wouldn't start.
I'm using the directed relay pack MC501 along with the 5x10. As I double checked my wiring on everything, I looked at my additional relay that was required and noticed that I mixed up and used 87a instead of 30 for the GWR output on the main unit. I've quickly checked my starter fuse but it was fine.
Does the unit HAVE to be flashed to be used? But this wouldn't explain why the car isn't cranking.
