Avital 4103 Negative Pulse on Shutdown

I need to pulse my door trigger with a negative output after the remote starter has turned off otherwise my headlights stay on. I can't seem to figure out a way based on the wiring connections provided and available programming. Using an avital 4103 with pkall xpresskit. 2004 toyota sienna. H1/1 LIGHT GREEN BLACK (-) 200mA FACTORY ALARM DISARM H1/2 GREEN/WHITE (-) 200mA FACTORY ALARM REARM H1/3 YELLOW (+) IGNITION OUT (TO ALARM) H1/4 WHITE/BLUE (-) ACTIVATION INPUT H1/5 ORANGE (-) 500mA GROUND WHEN LOCKED/ANTI-GRIND OUTPUT H1/6 BROWN (-) 200mA HORN OUTPUT H1/7 RED/WHITE (-) 200mA TRUNK RELEASE OUTPUT H1/8 BLACK GROUND H1/9 WHITE (+/-) LIGHT FLASH OUTPUT

If you're not using the factory alarm rearm wire, you could use it to pulse your door trigger through a relay. 85 to the factory alarm rearm wire, 86 to 12 volts. 30 to the factory door trigger wire, 87 to ground. This wire will be pulse when the remote start shuts down (also when the door are locked- not a big deal).My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.

Thank you I will give that a try. Is the factory rearm not going to ground already when activated? Why is the relay needed, or rather why can't you put the door trigger wire onto the rearm wire?

It's a precaution. There may be more than one wire listed that works, and it's possible to draw more than the 200 mA of the output's rating, especially if it grounds the dome light directly. If your unit had a negative door trigger wire, you could just cut it near the main unit and connect 87a to the alarm side.My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.

Hi, all Nissan vehicles don't need the connection of arm/disarm outputs from remote starter to be connected because the factory alarm disarms with ignition. With that said, you connect lock/unlock output from remote starter to arm/disarm of vehicle with double pulse on unlock. Use the arm (lt.green/white) of remote starter and connect it to driver door switch to turn off autolight. I never used a relay to do so but you can if you want. I've been doing all remote starters for my local Nissan dealer and never had any issues doing a direct connection without relay. Hope it helps.Sylvain Rochon
