I recently installed a basic car stereo in our 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Got it from Crutchfield and used their included wire harness (Metra 70-1817). All works well. I also have a Kenwood KOS-A300 aux factory radio upgrade unit that I pulled from a previous vehicle.
Since I have the Bluetooth and SIRIUS adapters for this KOS-A300, I was planning to now install it in this Jeep Grand Cherokee in order to add these features. Would simply plug it into the car stereo AUX input. The KOS-A300 has three bare wires to hook up for its power needs; a red, yellow and black. Could I simply connect these wires to the same colored wires that are connecting the newly installed car stereo via the META harness? Was thinking I could simply splice into them as needed.
Its always somwething

Yes, this should work fine.
My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.
