Ok newbie DIY alarm install. What is the SJB and BCM?   Smart Junction box?   I just installed a viper system in My ford e 150 and it goes off about 20 minutes after arming. How do I install diodes at pin switches and do I need them at all 4 ?
Thanks for any help guys! Someone tried to steal my work van and I need to get this working, Im tired of disconnecting my battery and locking hood with a chain every night!

Yes, SJB is Smart Junction Box and BCM is Body Control Module
You need to wire up every door you wish to be able to trigger the alarm and install the diodes per Tech Document 1076 https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/uploads/1076.pdf

Is there a picture showing an actual installation of a diode. Do you just wire it inline by cutting the trigger wire for each pin switch? Just wrap with tape or shrink tubing?

Here you go. These photos were "on-the-bench" and not in a vehicle so these are optimal conditions.
What you need:
Heat shrink tube
1N4001 diode ( 1N4004, 1N4007 etc will work )
Diagonal cutters
Wire strippers
Soldering iron
Solder
Heat sink ( alligator clip )
Bic lighter or heat gun
