Viper 3303 in a 60s Ford Mustang

Hello, Let me preface this by saying that I have installed car alarms before(with good install instructions) but am by no means an expert - more of a novice. The installation directions with this Viper 3303 are poor at best. I am installing the unit in a 60's Mustang and only want the unit to operate as a shock sensor/ open door alarm, and to control the power door locks (524N), and a power trunk switch. - The very basics. According to the following wiring diagram: https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/downloads.asp?srch=all&term=3303 Am I correct in the following: 1. Wire H1/1 goes to my trunk release switch; 2. Wire H1/2 goes to 12v source 3. Wird H1/3 goes to Siren 4. Wire H1/4 - not sure what to hook this to or if it is needed? 5. Wire H1/5 - to ground 6. Wire H1/6 - connect the + wire of the door switch to this wire? 7. Wire H1/7 - un-used 8. Wire H1/8 - not sure if i need this or not? 9. Wire H1/9 - un-used 10. Wire H1/10 - un-used 11. Wire H1/11 - un-used 12 Wire H1/12 - un-used Door lock harness - i think I can figure out with the on-board relays Starter kill harness - no plan to use so not necessary? GWA Mux Harness - don't even know what is for - but assume not necessary for my application? Auxilary Harness - not necessary for my application? Any help you can provide would be greatly greatly appreciated. Thank You

I have to think the trunk release wire needs to go to a relay which would then activate your electric trunk release. I also think you would need to wire up the ignition and/or an accessory wire so that you can get into programming and/or be able to turn the alarm off should the remote fail ?. Also if the old original 1960's door pin switches are in the car, maybe think about replacing them with new for reliability ?. Jim1968 Chevy II Nova Garage Find 2012
