I'm currently installing a Fortin Evo One in my 06 Silverado. Before I make any connections, I have been metering and testing all necessary wires in the truck.
Fortin calls for attaching the white wire to white wire of the Fortin (Ignition 2), and the orange wire to orange wire of the Fortin (Accessory) in the 6 pin connector to the left of the steering column.

My issue is that the orange wire shows voltage when the key is in the "on" position -- no voltage is shown while the key is in the "Accessory" position.
The white wire shows voltage when the key is in both the "Accessory" and "on" positions.
It's almost like something is reversed. I have confirmed that both wires are in their correct pin locations in the truck, and everything in the truck has always operated normally. Has anyone ran into this issue before?

Connect as Fortin describes...The White (IGN 2) is mainly for the transmission, needs to be powered at same time as Pink (IGN 1). The Orange (ACC) would actually be better described as RUN (has power IGN ! & 2, but drops out when cranking). Its mainly for the A/C Heater systems.

Thanks for the clarification. I got it hooked up today and it seems to work well. Thanks!

Great that it worked out. If the IGN 2 wasn't powered correctly, if you were to drive vehicle transmission may not shift properly.
