Hello. We recently purchased a Compustar for my kids car. 1992 accord. Easy install but it comes programmed default tachless. Not reliable enough for me with past install. Remote kit is a 5 button 2 way remote. I don’t have have programmer for this unit. Can anyone familiar explain how to change that option to tach?
Easy to follow steps lol

Lucky for me I have the OP-500 Programmer. I've never used the remotes to change options but it can be done. Here is a link to the complete install guide for the CM900-as control module :  https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/file.asp?ID=1428
Option 2-10 is the one you want. Factory default is Tachless, Option 1 and you want to change it to Tach, Option 2. Page 46 at the top details how to use the 5 button remotes to get into Menu Group 2 and then scroll down to 2-10. Then on Page 48 shows how to change option. It will help to have the siren/horn and Parking Lights hooked up.
Soldering is fun!

Thank you Kreg. The directions that came with it said to lock and unlock for 3 sec. and push key for 3 sec. f plus key hold for 3 and f plus trunk for key did the trick
