If this only happens during remote start, it sounds like the parking light output is programmed to pulse (flash) instead of constant. Menu 3 item 12 option 2 (option 1 is constant during remote start, option 3 is off).
If the LED on the control center stays on, it's probably in valet mode. Cycle the ignition key on and off, then press the valet button once. You may need the door open, I don't remember. Alternatively, press f twice on the remote, then press unlock/disarm once.
Type B is negative switched. Since the Viper outputs are negative, you can simply connect them directly to the lock/unlock wires in your vehicle. Bulldog lists lock (Viper green) as blue/green in the driver's kick panel or the BCM gray 26-pin plug pin 6. Unlock (Viper blue) is listed as yellow/purple in the driver's kick panel or BCM gray 26-pin plug pin 8.
My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.
