I had a Autostart AS2472 remote start system that stopped working. I replaced it with an Autostart AS2382 module/brain and I was able to get the remote start and door locks working again. I am using the original 2-way remotes for the AS2472, they are both compatible with the Autostart antenna. Both remotes work in starting and locking/unlocking the doors. The problem I am having is that the 2-way remote only works in 1-way mode. There is no feedback/acknowledgment back to the remote. The AS2382 is a 2-way system but does ship with a different 2-way remote than the AS2472 that I replaced. Any idea why the feedback does not work on the 2-way remote? Should it? Do I have to use the same model 2-way remote that would have shipped with the model AS2382? The installation instructions say to reset the module/brain if there is no feedback on the 2-way remote. I have done that and reprogrammed the remotes but still no feedback.

Any thoughts?

is the AS2472, the "black lcd" hdr remote? the two way is different one way should work ok.

Yes it is. Both remotes work in one way mode but the LCD remote, which is the two way remote does not get any feedback. Maybe it won't work in two way mode with the new 2382 brain. The 2382 and 2472 are both two way systems. I've tried reprogramming it but it will only work in one way mode.

are you using the old antenna or the new antenna ?
